The capitalism essay draws on years in sales: the work that matters is the work that actually solves the customer’s problem.
Good work deserves good compensation.
Personally, I would rather make the smaller sale that actually solves someone’s problem than the larger one that depends on convincing them to buy something they don’t really need.
